FIRST LOOK 2023: Margaret Armstrong, book illustrator

Sandi Silverman, owner of Unbound Bookery in Lakeland, Fla., shares some of the Margaret Armstrong-illustrated books she’ll have at the Florida Antiquarian Book Fair on March 10-12 at The Coliseum in downtown St. Petersburg. Armstrong’s distinctive Art Nouveau style was in great demand at the beginning of the 20th century. She created more than 270 covers and bindings for A.C. McClurg, Scribner’s and other publishers. Florida Antiquarian Book Fair features rare and collectible books, antique maps, vintage prints and photographs, and ephemera from various eras, offered by sellers from all other the country.
